On Wednesday, April 09, 2025, Ecotrading received a visit from the MEM (Millennium Ecological Museum) and
from the CIFOR (Center For International Forestry
Research) as part of the study titled State of the art of Non-Timber Forest
Products Processing in Central African Countries and Prospects for Sustainable
Value Chains Development” supported by the research project in ecology and
social sciences Central African Forest Ecosystems (RESSAC)
The objective of this visit was to conduct a study on the value chain of non-timber forest products (NTFP) at Ecotrading, to analyze the strangler rolls and propose solutions to encourage the consumption of NTFP. At the end of this study, recommendations will be addressed to COMIFAC and partners during a restitution workshop to which Ecotrading will be invited.
